Draft is a fundamentally different Magic experience — instead of bringing a prebuilt deck, players open booster packs, pick one card at a time, and pass the rest around the table. The result is a deck built from scratch in real time, using whatever you can piece together. This means every draft is a unique puzzle: you're evaluating cards on the fly, reading what your neighbors are picking, and adapting your strategy as the packs unfold. Draft is a staple of both casual play nights and high-level competition (it's regularly featured at Pro Tours), and many players consider it the purest test of overall Magic skill since it combines deckbuilding and gameplay into a single experience.
